Driving Lessons:

JM's specializes in teaching both automatic and manual transmission car driving. Whether you are a novice driver, a nervous driver or just want to refresh your driving skills, we can customize our lessons as per your needs and will make sure that you hit the road with confidence.

Assessment Test:

We also conduct Assessment Test which is aimed to assess the driving skills that are needed to pass the RTA practical driving test. This Test goes for 45 minutes and will cost you $45 only.

Car Hire for Driving Test

We lend cars to our students for the driving test at reasonable rates. If you are not our student and just want to hire our trainer's car, you need to prove that you possess safe driving skills sufficient enough to pass the test. Our trainer can assess your driving skills through an Assessment Test that goes for 45 minutes and will cost you $45 only. This test should be pre-arranged with our trainer at least five days before the test.

1. Road rules Handbook

The Road Users Handbook explains the main rules which apply to all road users and must be read and understood if you want to hold a driver licence in NSW.

2. A Guide for New Drivers

This Guide has been produced to assist new drivers, their parents and tutors to understand the new licensing scheme and the special conditions that apply to new drivers in New South Wales. The new licensing scheme will require a progressive improvement in skills for new drivers to move from a learner licence through a two-stage provisional licence to the full licence level.

If you are a licence holder from overseas and you want to drive while visiting NSW, you can use your current licence so long as your visitor status remains unchanged and your licence has not been suspended or disqualified.

5. Practice driver knowledge test - DKT

The practice DKT has been designed to help people prepare for the DKT before attempting it at a motor registry or other testing location. It lets you become familiar with the test and helps you to decide if you are ready to attempt the test. It also lets experienced drivers test their knowledge of the road rules.

6. Driver knowledge test - DKT

This is the first stage in the Graduated Licensing Scheme and is the test you must pass to get your learner licence. You must be 16 years of age or older to be eligible to take the test.

7. Driver ability road test - DART

As part of a range of new road safety initiatives to make our drivers and roads safer, a tougher driving test was introduced in 2007. The test focuses on hazard perception and has been designed for learners with extensive driving experience.

8. Hazard perception test - HPT

The Hazard Perception Test (HPT) is part of the NSW driver licensing scheme. The aim of the test is to make sure Provisional P1 drivers have enough hazard perception skills to progress to a Provisional P2 licence.

9. Driver qualification test - DQT

The Graduated Licensing Scheme for New Drivers in New South Wales requires drivers to pass a Driver Qualification Test (DQT) before they can progress from a P2 driver licence to a full licence.
